We have maintained close relationships with our farmers for decades, some of whom, we have been working with since 1950 and are thus in the 3rd generation with Kühne. In Germany alone, approximately 50 contract farmers supply us with raw materials. This means that more than 700 years of experience flow directly into the quality of our products.
The majority or our processed raw materials are procured in Germany with a figure 80%. Of these, for example, 83% gherkins, 100% white and red cabbage and 80% beetroot. Our raw materials, such as glass, metal or cardboard, are also procured 80% from suppliers based in Germany and use primary packaging with high recycling rates.
